1. New Link from Time Off Quick Action Card to Time Off UI
We’ve added a link from the Time Off quick action card on the home page to the Time Off UI.
There’s also an on-screen help text explaining what the link is for.
We’ve added this link and text because it was unclear to users whether the quick action card was a replacement for the regular Time Off UI or offered in addition to it.

2. Enhanced Validation Error Messages on Absence Form
We’ve enhanced the validation error message on the absence form while creating absences during the split and delimit scenarios. This is done by specifying details about absence linking and country/region-specific fields in the error messages.
This enhancement help’s to improve the user experience with respect to the validation error message on the absence form.

3. Delete Pending Alerts for Cancelled Absences
Pending alerts can now be deleted for cancelled absences.
We made this change in response to feedback from customers about unwanted alerts being sent in relation to cancelled absences.
To ensure that alerts are not sent when a leave request is cancelled, configure the relevant rule as shown here, where alerts are sent for any Employee Time where the approval status is not Cancelled.

4. Setting the Visibility of Fields Using Business Rules
The option to set the visibility of a field using a business rule has been changed. Now, you can only select a value from the available list for field visibility instead of entering a text value.You can use a business rule to set the visibility of a field with these options:
- None: The field isn’t visible.
- Edit: The field can be viewed and edited.
- View: The field can only be viewed.
We’ve enhanced this feature to avoid security errors and ambiguity caused by manual entries.

5. Updates to HRIS Sync
We have redesigned HRIS Sync. Previously, HRIS Sync job synced data based on each entity for all user IDs. Now, the data is synced for all entities based on each user ID.Along with the redesign, we have made the following enhancements:
- The HRIS Sync job runs in a shorter time frame.
- View Details for the job provide more relevant data when the HRIS Sync job runs.
- If you remove an e-mail address from Employee Central by importing data, the e-mail address is removed from the Employee Profile.
- Date of Birth field now syncs when rehiring a contingent worker.
This redesign improves the performance of HRIS Sync job.
