1. New Job Classification Field for Canada
We have added a new country/region-specific field, Classification Group, to Job Classification for Canada in Employee Central and enhanced the Import Jobs, Positions and Org. Units from Employee Central report in Employee Central Payroll.
We’ve added this field to enhance Workers’ Compensation Code data management for Canada. Additionally, we help to avoid double maintenance, since the values can be transferred automatically from Employee Central to Employee Central Payroll.
Configuration Requirements
Provide the relevant values for the Classification Group in the Picklist Center. Enter the values in the picklist ID <ClassificationGroup_CAN>.
Data models, picklists, and validation rules are available in the Software Download Center.
For Employee Central Payroll, Synchronization Support Package EA-HR SPA6 must be installed in your system. Please note that, while the Employee Central side of this feature is available, you can’t use the feature as a whole until the production release. 2. New Country/Region-Specific Fields for Saudi Arabia
We’ve added new country/region-specific fields for Saudi Arabia to reflect changes to Saudi labor law in Employee Central. The fields relate to Legal Entity Data, Global Information, and Job Information. We’ve enabled replication of these fields from Employee Central to Employee Central Payroll.
There are also associated picklists.
We added these fields to reflect legal changes in Saudi labor law made in 2021.
Configuration Requirements
Add the new fields to global information and job information for Saudi Arabia in the Country/Region-specific Succession Data Model and enable it in the RBPs. Add the new picklist ID and values in the Picklist Center.
In Job Information, the field ID=”employee-notice-period” should be enabled to have a cascading picklist and the parent picklist ID should be “country-of-company” (<picklist id=”EENoticePeriod” parent-field-id=”country-of-company”/>). You can make this change in Manage Business Configuration.
In the Picklist Center, edit the picklist ID so it can accept the country/region-specific values. Assign the picklist ID ‘ISOCountryList’ to the field <Parent Picklist>.
The validation for the new files in the legal entity will be available by default.

We have added this field to comply with legal requirements.
